I don’t think that I’ve ever broken down. I haven’t even sobbed uncontrollably since I was 16, but even that was short lived, because I was driving and I knew I had to calm down and just go home. My life was all sorts of weird after drew’s accident (in fact, it’s never really gone back to normal), but I kept trucking. Went to work, hung out, etc. Didn’t let myself feel enough. I can only recall crying really hard 4 times in the past 10 years. 1) when Ryan and I broke up, 2) when I got the $2000 phone bill from Kentucky 3) when my parents almost refused to co-sign on my line of credit and 4) when my grandma died. This is probably not healthy, considering the stresses in my life. And the last one on the list happened in january.. of 2011. I just hate crying so much, I don’t even have to suppress urges anymore. Yeah, this is definitely fucked up.
